Free Summer Lunch Program

Northern Illinois Food Bank is providing healthy sack lunches in your

neighborhood. All children under 18 can receive a free lunch at the

Rochelle United Methodist Church and

New Life Foursquare Church

Monday – Friday between 11:30 and 12:30

June 1-August 13

Note: Anyone under 18 can eat (you don't have to "qualify") and the meals must be eaten on site.

Volunteers: We need people to help pass out these pre-packged meals. You don't have to make them, just be there to distribute them.
The distribution sites will be the Rochelle United Methodist Church (accross from the Library) and the New Life Foursquare Church (by Lincoln School). The serving hours are 11:30-12:30, volunteers will need to be there from 11:00-1:00. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own kids, and high school student volunteers are welcome to eat as well. We don't want it to be a "have" and "have-nots" type of thing. Just a community sharing a meal together.
